	Junior Competitors		Information for Support Craft/Paddlers
	As a safety requirement, we will be asking for proof of suitable swimming ability for swimmers 12 years and under. Please note that any junior swimmers must provide proof of completing and passing stage 8 (as per Royal Life Saving) to be eligible to swim in the event. No award will be issued to the youngest swimmer.		All support paddlers will need to attend a briefing prior to the commencement of the swim (7.30am). All paddlers will be issued with a form of identification prior to the race as a requirement from the Department for Planning and Infrastructure. Any paddlers not identified appropriately will receive cautions and possible fines. the Support Craft Briefing notes.
