Ross Wilson & The Urban Legends - Hell of a Time Tour

'I've had a hell of a time' laughs Ross Wilson as he announces a national tour based around his 45 year road trip of musical life, titled 'Hell of A Time' after the song he wrote for Jimmy Barnes 1994 album 'Flesh and Wood'. Following on from the incredible success of the 2 sold out solo career retrospective concerts dubbed '5 Decades of Cool' at the State Theatre in Sydney and the Palais Theatre in St Kilda, Wilson will perform hits from his entire back catalogue of recording, producing and songwriting.

Expect to hear all the classic Daddy Cool staples, “Eagle Rock”, Hi Honey Ho”, Come Back Again”, “Bom Bom” and the radio banned “Baby Let Me Bang Your Box”. Mondo Rock hits such as “Cool World”, “State of The Heart”, “Chemistry”, “No Time”, and “Come said The Boy” come to life when Ross Wilson and the Urban Legends (Eric 'Mondo Rock' McCusker – Guitar & Vocals, John McAll – Piano & Vocals, Chris Paraha – Bass & vocals and Haydn Meggitt – Drums & Vocals) perform with second-to-none delivery. Ross Wilson solo classics “Living in the Land of Oz” and the 1989 hit “Bed of Nails” recently revived as a TV theme are included along with hit's Ross has written for other singers, including 'A Touch Of Paradise' recorded by John Farnham. A selection of more recent solo outings round out the show including the tour theme 'Hell Of A Time” due for release in 2010 on Ross' forthcoming Nashville recorded CD.

Nathan Gaunt

"Far from a standard pop songwriter, Gaunty's ability to encompass everything from Beatles-esque British balladry to Australian and American country music idiosyncrasies, and switch from one style to another within the same riff, had gained him praise for his creativity."
-- XPress Magazine (Escape & Return)

"Those there were bedazzled, overcome and totally swamped by brilliant musicianship, heavenly vocals and amazing songs...With his heart on his sleeve and an undeniable talent for penning a tune that spans the influences of many world music genres, Gaunt cemented his place as a brilliant performer, and a conductor of musical flair and emotion."
-- Hype Magazine

"Gaunt has become a rock ’n’ roll craftsman..."
-- Sunday Times

Prita

Fed a steady diet of lentils and Indian music as a child, Prita has acquired more than just an Indian name.. with various styles of music being played as the backdrop to her early years - by osmosis - Prita has absorbed a healthy dose of Crowded House, Tracy Chapman, Stevie Wonder and Lauren Hill. Her newly acquired addition of loop pedal (loopy Fred) has taken her music from a solid folk-jazz-soul sound to a beatsy layering of vocal harmonies, hand percussion and guitar. Recent shows include supports for Ed Kowalczyk, Carus, Tin Pan Orange and Nathan Gaunt and with two EP's under her belt and an album on the way. Prita is carving her path in the Music industry. Recently touring Europe, Prita has delighted audiences and gathered new songs in places far and wide from Estonia to Denmark, England, Greece, and Berlin. In the past few years she has played in USA, the Bahamas, Peurto Rico and Thailand, truly exploring each country and gaining an international grass roots fan base.

Mr Jim's Magic Show

Drippy the Dragon

If you’re looking for something truly special for a family audience then this is the show for you. Even in the world of entertainment it is rare to find a true natural at children’s and family comedy. Mr Jim is the Robin Williams of the children’s show, not only able to keep them in hysterics with his reactions and facial expressions but also with dozens and dozens of “unintentional” funny lines. The show also stars the children themselves as almost every routine has one or two children helping with the fun. They even have some co-stars as the children get to meet several beautiful white doves and Felicity, a cute, fluffy angora rabbit.

Children have always loved puppets but Drippy the Dragon's show is something special. This show has all the wonderful entertainment of a Disney movie with family comedy and a totally lovable star. You will get that warm glow in your cheeks as you find yourself singing along to “If your happy and you know it put your fingers in your ears” or giggling as Drippy tricks Mr. Jim with “Say red….. You're a tomato head”. You might even be one of those who give a sad little ooooooooh as Drippy gets in trouble for trying to steal the dragon snacks. Whichever parts you love the best you will certainly want to see it all again.
