How to Enter

Due to government lockdowns many swimmers were unable to attend the Busselton Jetty Swim 2021. Affected swimmers were offered the opportunity for a guaranteed entry in 2022 should they officially withdraw within a nominated timeframe.

Registration for these swimmers will be open from 6:00am Monday 20th September and will close at 11.59pm Sunday 26th September 2021. Swimmers will be emailed a non-transferable link to register prior to registrations opening. They will need to use this link to register themselves in the same swim event as they were registered in 2021.

Only 2021 Border Closure Early Bird swimmers are eligible to register during this period and you will only be able to register in the same swim event (ie. Solo, Team, Kids Swim or One Mile Swim to Shore) as you were registered for the 2021 event.

2021 Border Closure Early Bird entries will not be accepted outside of this registration period. If you miss this registration period, you will need to enter the Ballot for a 2022 event entry.

Only competent swimmers who are fit and adequately trained should enter.

Entry to the SunSmart Busselton Jetty Swim is by Online Ballot Entry only

Please note the change in registration for Busselton Jetty Swim 2022 to a ballot process. This has been made to cater for increasing demand and to ensure transparency in the allocation of entries.

Please read the details of the ballot process below and note that you may register for one event ONLY and that duplicate entries will result in automatic disqualification from the event for a period of two years.

To enter the event you MUST register for the Ballot which opens at 6:00am Friday 1st October 2021.
The Ballot closes 11:59pm Australian Western Standard Time (AWST), Sunday 10th October 2021.

Entries for the Kids Swim open at 6:00am Friday 15th October 2021 and close at 6:00pm Australian Western Standard Time (AWST), Monday 7th February 2022, unless sold out earlier.

Entries will be capped at: 100 x 2 person relay teams, 50 x 4 person relay teams, 2600 solo swimmers, 800 One Mile swimmers and 200 Kids Swimmers. Race organisers reserve the right to vary the capped entries and/or refuse entry to any swimmer.
